Zihuatanejo is located on the Mexico's Pacific coast
in the southern state of Guerrero and is well known for its beautiful, white sandy beaches, most notably, Playa La Ropa. The name Zihuatanejo comes from Nahuatl language and means "Place of Women."
Zihuatanejo Bay is rated as one of the world's most beautiful bays. It curves deeply inland, sheltering the town and its beaches from any Pacific turbulence. Still a working fishing town, the beaches are dotted with colorful small boats pulled up on the white sands. Many of the hotels are perched on the various hillsides and offer spectacular views of the bay and the ocean beyond.
The town is colonial style with narrow cobblestoned streets just begging to be explored. Paseo del Pescador, the beach-side promenade, overlooks the town pier and is lined with tiny cafes and breezy restaurants.
It is in this paradise that you will find Punta Marina,
